Ride & Reach: A Day of Connection, Awareness and Purpose

On 19th September 2026, the Autism Helping Hands Foundation joined the Ride & Reach event at Kitengela International School, and what unfolded was a day filled with connection, community and shared purpose. Cyclists of all ages and abilities came together to ride for something greater than the finish line. They rode for awareness, acceptance and inclusion.

As an organisation, we are deeply grateful to be part of spaces that bring people together and remind us that awareness creates understanding and understanding creates inclusion. The Ride Kenya Festival, organised by Gravel Riders Club in partnership with CITAM Kitengela, gave us exactly that. A platform to amplify the message that people with autism belong in every space, including the world of sport.

A heartfelt thank you to CITAM Kitengela, Gravel Riders Club and to everyone who showed up, rode, supported and helped carry the message forward. Your presence and energy made this day what it was.

The photos and moments captured from the event are more than just images. They are memories of a movement that continues to grow. Every pedal, every cheer and every shared smile brought us one step closer to a world that truly includes everyone.

The ride may be over, but the mission continues.
